Electrical Systems EngineerKey Role:Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Provide the Navy with expert and in-depth program management, acquisition, documentation, and logistics planning in support of a Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT). Work in a team environment to meet client challenges and analyze new solutions using analytical techniques and referencing NAVSEA regulatory and policy updates. Develop and maintain documentation essential to design, test, procure, and deliver TEMPALT components and work directly with clients and supporting commands.Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with logistics and program management for large organizations, including a military systems command</li><li>Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel</li><li>Knowledge of the areas of program life cycle, including design, testing, procurement, and installation</li><li>Knowledge of project timelines, deliverables, and critical path</li><li>Knowledge of Technical Design Packages (TDP) for Naval systems</li><li>Secret clearance</li><li>HS diploma or GED</li></ul>Additional Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of experience with the Naval Sea Systems Command or Navy Program Executive Office</li><li>Experience with procedures and responsibilities for technical design, approval, and configuration of Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTS) and Shipyard Working Environment</li><li>Experience with automated design systems and tools, including AutoCAD or Solid Works</li><li>Ability to manage and supervise team members and lead projects to meet expectations</li></ul>Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
