The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and fostering a DevOps culture.Join us in shaping the future of our cloud and data strategy!Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead, design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), SAAS products (Databricks, Snowflake) and on-premises solutions</li><li>Design and develop reusable IaC modules for deploying Kubernetes, Databricks, Snowflake and other related cloud services on AWS and Azure</li><li>Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software releases</li><li>Automate repetitive tasks, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar</li><li>Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)</li><li>Integrate DevOps pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins</li><li>Work closely with developers to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and support containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Ensure infrastructure and pipelines adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, EAR, SOC 2, GDPR)</li><li>Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues in production and non-production environments</li><li>Automate, monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to balance performance and cost efficiency</li><li>Integrate DevSecOps practices including secret management, vulnerability scanning and compliance check</li><li>Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing</li><li>Guide and mentor development team members and sharing knowledge to foster a DevOps culture</li></ul>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher</li><li>8+ years of experience in Platform engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role</li><li>5+ years of experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and other SaaS platforms including Databricks and Snowflake</li><li>5+ years of experience in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)</li><li>5+ years of experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)</li><li>5+ years of experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)</li><li>5+ years of experience in implementing DevSecOps practices such as secret management, RBAC, ABAC, tag-based or policy-based security measures</li><li>5+ years of experience in implementing data access governance using Lake formation, Unity catalog or similar stack</li><li>3+ years of experience with building monitoring dashboards for resource usage using different logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):<ul><li>Current industry certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)</li><li>Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)</li><li>Experience with security, compliance and networking in cloud native and hybrid environments.</li><li>Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing</li><li>Experience with AI &amp; generative AI use cases and implementations</li><li>Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.</li><li>Experience with data engineering workflows and ETL orchestration (Airflow, Control-M, Autosys)</li><li>Experience with data platforms and warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)</li></ul>Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay &amp; Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
