He/She is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements. The Senior IT Project Manager should have experience managing large and complex software development projects, strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to oversee project teams.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage multiple software development projects concurrently, from initiation through deployment. </li><li>Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals. </li><li>Analyse project proposals to determine timelines, budget constraints, and optimal execution strategies.</li><li>Develop comprehensive project plans detailing schedules, resource allocation, and budget management. </li><li>Identify and schedule key deliverables, milestones, and tasks across project phases.</li><li>Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to guide project execution and support iterative development cycles. </li><li>Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Establish work plans and staffing strategies, including recruitment or assignment of project personnel.</li><li>Implement and maintain effective project communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential issues.</li><li>Monitor project activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of information across all deliverables.</li><li>Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic business objectives.</li><li>Assign roles, responsibilities, and authority levels to project team members.</li><li>Direct and coordinate team efforts to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines.</li><li>Review and analyse status reports from project personnel, adjusting plans and schedules as needed.</li><li>Define and enforce standards and procedures for project documentation and reporting.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve project management practices to enhance capability maturity and performance.</li><li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with external service providers and vendors.</li></ul>Essential requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent IT related experience desirable.</li><li>Experience of Real Estate Infrastructure / Office relocations / openings</li><li>Several years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving</li><li>Experience of execution of multiple IT projects or a large IT project.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing a project team</li><li>Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully using people skills.</li><li>Ability to supervise and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types</li><li>Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, PMI, Prince II and Agile)</li><li>Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior stakeholders.</li><li>Knowledge of project-planning tools</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations</li><li>Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills, because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact</li><li>Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources</li><li>Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence</li><li>Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time</li></ul>UK Benefits include:  Flexible benefits fund, emergency leave days, adoption leave, 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension, life cover, private medical insurance, parental leave, education assistance program.It’s possible we’re hiring for this position in multiple countries, in which case the above benefits apply to the primary location.
