(Note: For EpiSci job openings, fully remote work will be considered by exception.)</em></p></div><h2>About the role</h2> <p>The customer applications team takes all internal team’s vertical development, including but not limited to hardware, firmware, core operating systems, middleware, infotainment, cloud — and integrates the Vehicle OS onto customer specific applications / platforms, making Vehicle OS and Vehicles do useful things together. We wear a few hats in the process:</p> <h2>At Applied Intuition, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Deliver full-system features that span software and hardware that meet customer requirements</li> <li>Directly interact with the customers to identify the target use-cases, then manage the project to complete the integration</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with the hardware and electrical teams to develop and ensure smooth integration and deployment on systems</li> <li>Work closely with the system engineering team on setting the right architecture and system design</li> <li>Deep understanding of how the software and hardware components interact</li> <li>Test and troubleshoot integration between various components to ensure reliability</li> </ul> <h2>Were looking for someone who has:</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in software integration or development</li> <li>An understanding of electronic systems and how how to setup and debug them</li> <li>Experience with developing or testing software applications</li> <li>Software development experience in C/C++</li> <li>Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to have:</h2> <ul> <li>Experience in the automotive industry and working with automotive technologies, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, AUTOSAR, etc</li> <li>Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements</li> <li>Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc)</li> <li>Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems</li> <li>Skills in other adjacent areas (CAD/3D printing, PCB design, etc)</li> </ul> <p>Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.</p> <p>Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials &amp; certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.</p> <p>Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located.
