Our Workplace Technology team ensures every Zopian has the tools and support they need to do their best work. If you’re driven by solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and using automation to make systems smarter, this role is for you. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>As an IT Services Engineer, you’ll take ownership of how Zopa’s workplace technology evolves. You’ll design, implement, and support solutions across Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Zoom, Jamf, Jira, and Confluence — with a focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency. You’ll work closely with InfoSec, Networking, and Platform Engineering to deliver secure, reliable, and seamless IT services while championing innovation and continuous improvement. </span></div><h3>Your impact:</h3><ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain IT services and workplace technologies that enable Zopians to do their best work. </li><li>Act as a senior escalation point for the Service Desk, supporting complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. </li><li>Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects — e.g. zero-trust initiatives, endpoint automation, or AI workflow enhancements. </li><li>Collaborate with InfoSec, Networking, and Platform Engineering to ensure services are secure and scalable. </li><li>Continuously improve processes, identifying automation and standardisation opportunities. </li><li>Contribute to the strategic roadmap for Workplace Technology, defining standards and best practices. </li><li>Mentor and support colleagues across IT Services, building technical capability and knowledge sharing. </li><li>Deliver clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical users. </li></ul><h3>Your toolkit:</h3><ul><li>You don’t need to know everything — but here’s what would help: </li><li>Solid experience in IT services, systems engineering, or workplace technology roles. </li><li>Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Tanium, Jamf, Okta and Zoom </li><li>Experience automating tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting tools. </li><li>Knowledge of endpoint management, security hardening, and identity management principles. </li><li>Experience collaborating with teams such as InfoSec, Networking, or Platform Engineering. </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. </li><li>A passion for using automation and AI to improve service delivery. </li></ul><h3>Bonus points if you have:</h3><ul><li>Experience delivering IT transformation or automation projects. </li><li>Familiarity with zero-trust security principles and architecture. </li><li>Exposure to monitoring tools or endpoint analytics solutions. </li><li>ITIL Foundation or Microsoft/Azure certifications. </li><li>Experience configuring virtual desktops, such as AWS Workspaces or Citrix  </li></ul><h3>Why youll love it here:</h3><ul><li>Work in a modern tech environment with autonomy and real impact. </li><li>Collaborate with experts across Zopa’s Technology division. </li><li>Play a key role in shaping the future of our digital workplace. </li><li>Join a culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning. </li><li>Be part of a team that uses AI and automation to redefine IT service delivery. </li></ul><h3>How we measure success:</h3><ul><li>Successful delivery of engineering and automation projects. </li><li>High service reliability, efficiency, and user satisfaction. </li><li>Positive collaboration with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Proactive contribution to strategic and operational improvements. </li></ul><div>#JA-LI1</div><div><br /></div><div><b>We’re expanding!</b></div><div>From September 2025, Zopa will be opening a brand-new office in Manchester at WeWork, Dalton Place, 29 John Dalton Street, M2 6WF.</div><div><br /></div><div><span><b>At Zopa we value flexible ways of working.</b></span></div><div>We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance.
