As an engineer on the team, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and remote operators to build full stack web applications to monitor and support our fleet at scale, provide in-vehicle visualization systems and provide live ride support to our growing rider base.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>If you like working on new and innovative challenges to solve unique problems by working across domains and having direct impact, this is the role for you!</span></div><h3>In this role you will:</h3><ul><li>Design and implement highly scalable and reliable web applications to support Zooxs autonomous robotaxi service under the supervision of more senior engineers</li><li>Collaborate with software engineering teams, PMs, designers  to build new features.</li><li>Collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance existing software systems by optimizing latency, CPU/memory usage, and database queries.</li><li>Have the chance to grow with the support of your manager, mentor and team members.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>3+ years of experience in software development</li><li>Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS or Python</li><li>Experience with a Front End UI Framework (e.g., Vue, React, Svelte) or a web framework (e.g., Flask, FastAPI)</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in a low-level language such as Java, Kotlin, C, C++, or Rust.</li><li>Familiarity with low-level Linux system protocols, firmware, and ECUs.</li><li>Experience developing tools that support operations.</li></ul><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
