<p><b>What you can expect</b></p><p>As a Video AI Engineer, you’ll develop advanced video AI to deliver impactful features for the Zoom Workplace. Your work will continuously enhance the Zoom product experience and enable more effective and engaging communication for our users. In this role, you’ll engage in full-stack R&amp;D—from leading academic advancements to translating research into real-world features. You’ll launch your work to production, receive direct user feedback and praise, and continually refine your solutions to perfection.</p><p></p><p><b>About the Team</b></p><p>Our global team, including members in China and Singapore, focuses on improving video quality and performance in Zoom products. As a Video AI Engineer, youll collaborate with experts to enhance user experiences and grow your skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Conducting full-stack research and development, translating state-of-the-art video AI research into production-ready features for real-world applications.</p></li><li><p>Building and deploy video processing applications across desktop and mobile platforms, including Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.</p></li><li><p>Designing, implement, and maintain modular algorithms within Zoom’s video processing pipeline, ensuring clean and scalable code.</p></li><li><p>Applying deep knowledge of image/video processing and hands-on expertise in neural rendering, generative/diffusion/discriminative models, transfer learning, or Gaussian Splatting.</p></li><li><p>Optimizing video processing algorithms for speed and performance across a variety of hardware and platforms.</p></li><li><p>Evaluating algorithm performance through thorough research, testing, and real-world usage, refining based on direct user feedback.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with top experts to innovate and enhance Zoom’s video AI technologies, continuously growing your technical expertise.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li><p>Hold a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics</p></li><li><p>Have more than 3 years work experience in talking avatar/head/portrait, with release projects and top conference papers</p></li><li><p>Have hands-on experiences in one of the following techniques: neural rendering, generative model, diffusion model, discriminative model, transfer learning, or Gaussian Splatting.</p></li><li><p>Have working experience working of image and video processing</p></li><li><p>Have excellent communication (both oral, written, and interpersonal), analytical and troubleshooting skills.</p></li><li><p>Have familiarity with multi-threaded programming and communication mechanisms</p></li><li><p>Have familiarity with of multimedia stream data processing flow</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Salary Range or On Target Earnings:</b></p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p>$127 700,00<p></p><p>Maximum:</p>$255 400,00<p></p><p><span>In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations</span></p><p><span>At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
