They work to integrate Zooms platform with third-party providers for critical functions like user sign-up and notifications.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborating with product management and cross-functional teams to define requirements for Zoom Notification, SMTP, and SMS services. You will transform high-level roadmap visions into actionable feature specifications and clear deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Establishing and upholding engineering best practices, processes, and standards to drive high-quality product development.</p></li><li><p>Designing and developing core Notification and Web Meeting services using Java and the Spring Boot framework. You will build a secure and scalable platform leveraging modern cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, NoSQL).</p></li><li><p>Building and maintaining a reliable, stable, and secure notification system.</p></li><li><p>Developing and sustaining a robust monitoring and alerting system to ensure system health and performance.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with third-party SMTP and SMS service providers to design and deliver seamless, reliable integrations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What were looking for</b></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated a Masters degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Have at least 5 years of experience in product development, with a focus on building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale web applications in the cloud. This includes experience with backend/frontend services, event streaming platforms, and API/SDK development using Spring MVC/Spring Boot frameworks.</p></li><li><p>Possess proficiency in Java, with deep knowledge of I/O, multithreaded concurrent programming, and modern cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</p></li><li><p>Have a good understanding of modern database and storage technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL systems such as MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.</p></li><li><p>Need to have proven experience leading and managing large-scale projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and an ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Salary Range or On Target Earnings:</b></p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p>$98,900.00<p></p><p>Maximum:</p>$228,700.00<p></p><p><span>In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations</span></p><p><span>At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
