<p><b>What you can expect</b></p><p><span>The Zoom SDK team is seeking a skilled, collaborative, and innovative Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of our web SDK products. Our culture is rooted in respect, empathy, inclusion, accountability, and our mission to Deliver Happiness to customers and colleagues alike.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Building and scaling web SDKs to enable developers to create distributed web applications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Designing with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind, applying both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Writing clean, well-tested code and advocate for Test-Driven Development.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Optimizing applications for speed, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborating with product, design, and QA to translate requirements into timely, high-quality releases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Rapidly prototyping and iterating on real-time audio/video solutions in the browser</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participating in code reviews and sharing best practices with peers.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partnering with technical support and customer success teams to address product issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Keeping the end-user experience front and center in everything you build.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Have 5 or more years of professional software development experience with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3; experience with TypeScript is preferred, and can navigate different languages and technology stacks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Be skilled in React (Redux familiarity a plus); experience with Vue.js or Angular is also valuable.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Be experienced with build tools/bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.) and Git version control.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have experience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket) and real-time communication (WebRTC, audio/video processing).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have experience with unit testing, automation, and AI-powered developer tools for productivity, debugging, or prototyping.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Bonus: Experience with RxJS and mobile development skills (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android).</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Salary Range or On Target Earnings:</b></p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p>$146 700,00<p></p><p>Maximum:</p>$339 300,00<p></p><p><span>In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations</span></p><p><span>At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
