This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge technologies and to contribute to the success of mission-critical applications.</p><p></p><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Installing, configuring, and maintaining MySQL database servers</span></p></li><li><p><span>Managing and supporting mission critical replicated database environments</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting database performance and issues</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participating in database design, deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and patching, etc</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting DevOps and Service Engineers on database related works and issues</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proposing and enforcing architectural governance, database standards and best practices</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB</span></p></li><li><p><span>Participating in team on-call and deployment rotation</span></p></li></ul><div><div></div><p></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><b>What we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of involved MySQL DBA working experience on Linux/VM, AWS and/or OCI cloud</p></li><li><p>Have expertise in MySQL database architecture and internal</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to script and automate (ansible chef, git) routine database tasks using Shell and SQL.</p></li><li><p>Have expertise in database design, installation, backup/recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, patching, supporting and upgrading MySQL in both Cloud and on-premises environments.</p></li><li><p>Have experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.</p></li><li><p>Be proficient in ensuring data integrity and availability by overseeing database storage, access, and security.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).</p></li><li><p>Be a dynamic team player who learns quickly.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Salary Range or On Target Earnings:</b></p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p>$98,900.00<p></p><p>Maximum:</p>$228,700.00<p></p><p><span>In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations</span></p><p><span>At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
