Write code, and deliver with speed and quality.</span><br /> </p><p><b>About the Team</b></p><p><span>The Zoom App &amp; Strategic Integration team develops and maintains client experiences for Zoom Apps, Zoom Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Zoom Chat, and Zoom Phone on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Zoom App &amp; Strategic Integration team is looking to bring on a Software Engineer who’s passionate about designing and scaling cloud-native web applications. In this role, you’ll leverage your full-stack expertise to help build and expand the Zoom Apps ecosystem.</span><br /> </p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Designing, developing, and optimizing distributed web applications using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Owning the end-to-end development of our </span><u>BuiltByZoom</u><span> PWA, from prototyping to production.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Writing clean, maintainable code, and championing Test-Driven Development to ensure robust, well-tested features.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partnering with product managers, designers, and QA to translate requirements into timely, high-quality releases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Iterating quickly on real-time audio/video communication solutions in the browser to validate new ideas.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fostering a supportive team environment through open communication, respect, empathy, and accountability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Staying current with emerging technologies and advocating for standards that improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Keeping the end user front of mind and striving for seamless experiences that fulfill the mission to Deliver Happiness.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Possess 3+ years of Node.js and React experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate expertise in developing single-page and progressive web applications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have excellent SQL skills and familiarity with relational database design.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Be hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for containers and orchestration.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Be comfortable applying MVC, MVVM, and microservices architectures.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Possess excellent problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Salary Range or On Target Earnings:</b></p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p>$87,600.00<p></p><p>Maximum:</p>$186,000.00<p></p><p><span>In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications &amp; experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations</span></p><p><span>At Zoom, we offer a window of at least 5 days for you to apply because we believe in giving you every opportunity.
