This role is ideal for someone with a consultancy or business operations background who thrives on solving complex problems, aligning stakeholders, and driving measurable impact across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. You’ll operate with wide scope and autonomy, and act as a strategic partner to GTM leadership—helping scale high-impact initiatives across the business. This role is for you, if you can zoom out to identify growth opportunities, zoom in to execute with precision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance What you will own: <h4>Funnel Optimization &amp; Conversion Growth</h4> <ul> <li>Analyze and refine top-of-funnel flows to improve lead-to-live conversion rates.</li> <li>Implement SLA tracking and dashboards for underwriting, MSA execution, and merchant activation delays.</li> </ul> <h4>Process &amp; Technology Enablement</h4> <ul> <li>Technologically curious: Experience with or eagerness to leverage AI-enabled tools and automation (e.g. ChatGPT, Salesforce Einstein, HubSpot AI, or RevOps automation platforms) to enhance workflow efficiency and strategic insight generation</li> <li>Own and manage the CRM &amp; RevOps stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Tableau), marketing automation, and any integration tooling.</li> <li>Implement fast-lane onboarding paths and trigger-based workflows to automate milestones (e.g. “widget installation pending”—nudge at 3 days).</li> <li>Vet and integrate external tools for compliance automation (Alloy, Middesk) and fraud verification.</li> </ul> <h4>Data, Metrics &amp; Analytics</h4> <ul> <li>Set and review leading indicators: approval rate lift targets, time-to-live, widget install rate, day‑30 churn.</li> <li>Define and communicate GTM performance narratives using data-driven insights</li> <li>Build self-serve dashboards and reporting cadences that drive decision-making at the exec level</li> </ul> <h4>Cross‑Functional Alignment</h4> <ul> <li>Partner with Sales, Risk, Product, CS, and Growth teams to translate business growth &amp; onboarding strategy into operational strategy.</li> <li>Curate onboarding support materials (checklists, portal guides, status emails) for SMB merchants by observing competitors like Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay, which all provide integrated self-service or guided portals with transparency at onboarding stage.</li> </ul> <h4>Change Leadership &amp; Scaling</h4> <ul> <li>Work with executive leadership to prioritize process improvements by ROI (e.g. platform expansion, fraud dialing, MSA automation).</li> <li>Drive adoption of new revenue processes and systems across teams, ensure strong change management and training.</li> </ul> <h4>Strategic Projects</h4> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency (e.g., ICP refinement, customer segmentation, pricing rollout, expansion readiness).</li> <li>Evaluate and pilot new tools and processes in collaboration with Product, Finance, and Engineering.</li> </ul> What Makes You a Strong Fit: <ul> <li>Experience: 8+ years in strategic operations roles such as RevOps, BizOps, or Management Consulting, with a track record of leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business impact—ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives without being micromanaged.</li> <li>Strong ownership mindset—you identify issues, define solutions, and drive outcomes with limited direction.</li> <li>Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills; you thrive in dynamic environments and can bring clarity to ambiguity.</li> <li>Analytical mindset: Comfortable with SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Looker), dashboards, and forecasting/reporting frameworks.</li> <li>Operations-driven: Passionate about end-to-end funnel design, lead routing, operational SLAs, and KPI ownership.</li> <li>Collaborative: Skilled at cross-functional alignment and translating strategic goals into operational execution.</li> <li>Customer-centric: Keen understanding of the customer journey landscape, informed by industry peers</li> </ul> What you’ll get in return Zip is a place where you’ll get out what you put in. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations. The annual base Pay Range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 USD. This range reflects our US national compensation (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.  If hired, employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
