We’ve only begun reimagining the future – for our people, our customers, and the world.</div><div> </div><div>The Senior Workday Technical Specialist is a key member of the HRIT team responsible for ensuring seamless data flow, accuracy, and consistency between Workday and other critical systems. The successful candidate will manage and troubleshoot integrations, coordinate system configurations, and provide expert guidance to the HRIT team. Location- ***Role is required to be onsite in Lincolnshire, IL office (Hybrid- Minimum of 3 days in the office per week). Responsibilities: <ul><li>Leads the discovery, design, development, support, and optimization of complex integrations between Workday and External/Internal systems, managing end-to-end workflows using technologies such as, but not limited to, calculated fields, custom reports, EIB, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and advanced Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) to create robust integration solutions.</li><li>Takes the initiative to work with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Payroll, and Finance to define configuration and integration requirements for new and existing integrations while solving business problems.</li><li>Ensures robust Workday security for integrations by implementing encryption, decryption, data security measures, and managing SSH, PGP, IP whitelisting, and security groups/roles.</li><li>Prepares and manages integration migrations and deployments to Sandbox and Production environments, while identifying, analyzing, and leading cross-functional improvements through a Change Control Board or similar system to ensure effective production deployment.</li><li>Ensures compliance with standards and regulatory requirements by maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, and data flows.</li><li>Develops and executes test plans to validate application performance, while prioritizing, troubleshooting, and efficiently resolving technical issues with other systems.</li><li>Collaborates with vendors to map requirements and resolve integration issues efficiently, while building strong relationships with business owners. Provide comprehensive support for HR systems, including tenant maintenance, optimization, and upgrades, with the flexibility to address issues during after-hours or weekends.</li><li>Establishes and actively cultivates relationship with business owners.Support HR systems including server related maintenance support on HR related applications which can include after-hours support or weekend work.</li></ul> Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field REQUIRED</li><li>Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience.</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing integrations of Workday with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM </li><li>Minimum 3+ years of experience in the Workday HCM ecosystem.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Workday Certification and familiarity with Agile Process (preferred)</li><li>Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing and changing environment</li><li>Verbal and written proficiency in the English language - Excellent communication with Unit Leaders, Executives and Decisionmakers</li><li>Experience developing and optimizing advanced reporting solutions using Workday technologies, such as, but not limited to, Custom Worklets, Advanced Reports, Drill-Down Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Scorecards, BIRT, and Prism Analytics.</li><li>Experience with custom development initiatives using Workday Extend and other relevant technologies to meet unique business requirements is also desirable.</li><li>Ability to mentor team members</li><li>Ability to manage complex issues and apply root cause analysis</li><li>Expert knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications</li><li>Advanced analytical skills</li><li>Innovative and growth mindset.</li><li>Advanced Degree preferred</li></ul>Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.
