Zebra Technologies is looking for a Business Analyst to join our EMC (Enterprise Mobile Computing) Business unit, which is dedicated to providing cutting-edge technology solutions that help businesses optimize their operations, improve worker productivity, and ensure seamless connectivity across their workforce. As a Business Analysts you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the operations you are associated with by delivering insightful reports, data interpretation, and strategic recommendations to business leaders. In this position, you will specifically focus on supporting R&D project planning and financial reporting.

 

Must be able to work in our Holtsville, NY location- Hybrid.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversees data integrity and financial management related to purchase services, regulatory compliance, and project material expenditures for the organization.
  • Owns weekly Project List meeting with 125+ management level attendees.
  • Manages the process to collect, analyze, and finalize the organization’s capital expenditure plan.
  • Oversees the annual process for regulatory cost savings across various departments.
  • Administers the organization’s quarterly prototype rebate process for research and development, ensuring incremental operational savings.
  • Manages incoming wire transfers and credit notes for the organization.
  • Leads the weekly project management office (PMO) finance meeting.
  • Leads the weekly handheld project management team (PMT) meeting.
  • Updates and publishes weekly PMT files for each business unit within the organization.
  • Coordinates monthly financial close activities with PMO support and finance teams.
  • Uses data methodologies and business acumen to generate recommendations to moderately complex problems to review with supervisor/senior analyst.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Business Enterprise Systems experience
  • Familiarity with standard GAAP accounting practices, such as accruals
  • Demonstrated expertise experience in advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI, either as a report user or an author

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project or ERP systems such as; Planisware, and/or Oracle.
  • OPEX and CAPEX experience
  • Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations
  • Can present data in a visually compelling format to help business stakeholders understand the issues, possibilities and recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

***Role is required to be onsite in Holtsville, NY office (Hybrid).

Salary: USD 67000.00 - USD 100600.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
