The Financial Planning Analyst plays a central role in providing analytical expertise and
strategic insight into Yum’s global portfolio of business units (BMUs) through
supporting the Financial Planning function. This role will report to the Manager of
Financial Planning & Analysis with strong visibility to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global business units and provide support in yearly operating
plan development, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly close (40%) - Track and provide strategic insights on store-level profitability, incentives, etc.
(20%) - Provide cross-functional finance support for critical projects including budget
development, KPI tracking, and providing thought partnership to project leads
(20%) - Provide ad hoc support for special projects and initiatives (20%)
Required Qualifications:
- You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Advanced Excel skills required
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Great comfort in conducting due diligence and synthesizing findings to offer
actionable recommendations - Strong bias for fact-based decision-making and action-oriented project
management practices - Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and navigate ambiguity
to drive results - Manages time and resources and removes obstacles to ensure quality output
is delivered on time. - Creates cohesive and coherent presentations, demonstrating a strong
command of best practices in deck construction. - Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build
consensus and look for collaboration with people from different functions and
all levels required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business preferred
- Experience with dashboarding software preferred (Tableau, Domo, PowerBi)
Salary Range: $87,000-102,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, well consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
