YETI is looking for a Sr. IT Project and Portfolio Manager to engage with many different Technology teams across YETI as we implement and operate best-in-class project and portfolio management practices.
This role will manage and drive large Information Technology initiatives and will be directly responsible for key deliverables within each project. The Project Manager must be able to communicate up and down within the organization, manage resource, budget and timelines on active projects; and facilitate the intake process for new large initiatives for the IT Department. As needed, this role will bring recovery skills to troubled projects.
We’re looking for our new Team Member to show us six or more years of having worked within a Program Management Office (PMO). An Agile mindset is essential; as is full competency in traditional waterfall project management. The successful candidate will interface with our Information Technology teams and participate in continuous improvement of our methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale IT projects from intake through execution and delivery
Communicate effectively across all levels, including executive leadership
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources (including third parties)
Drive recovery efforts for at-risk projects
Champion continuous improvement in project methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent experience required
8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects within a PMO
Strong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies (SAFe experience a plus)
PMP®, Prince2, Six Sigma, or similar certification
Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Consumer Goods preferred
Familiarity with ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), and eCommerce (Commerce Cloud) platforms
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
A collaborative mindset and passion for knowledge sharing
Based in Austin, TX at our HQ off Southwest Parkway. If you are not local, you must be willing to relocate.
We are onsite Monday-Thursday, and remote on Friday.
Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
