In this role, you will be responsible for tooling design reviews, vendor management, project timelines, and ensuring quality and manufacturability standards are met. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to bring products from concept to production. <h3>Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Manage end-to-end tooling projects for injection molding and other manufacturing technologies. (Die Casting, Metal and Plastic Extrusion, Urethane Casting, Metal Stamping)</li> <li>Review and validate tool designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.</li> <li>Liaise with suppliers and tooling vendors to communicate project specifications, timelines, and deliverables.</li> <li>Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and provide feedback to customers and internal teams.</li> <li>Oversee tool fabrication, sampling, validation, and production ramp-up.</li> <li>Work closely with Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with engineering standards.</li> <li>Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to stay on schedule and within budget.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling and process optimization.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in tooling engineering, project engineering, or a related role—ideally in injection molding or high-volume production environments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of tooling design, materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&amp;T.</li> <li>Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and working with domestic and international suppliers.</li> <li>Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with simulation tools a plus.</li> <li>Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.</li> <li>Fluent English Speaking written and verbal communication is required.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with digital manufacturing platforms or cloud-based PLM/ERP tools.</li> <li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with other processes like die casting, stamping, or additive manufacturing</li> </ul> <h2>Personal qualities:</h2> Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
