Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>About the Organization</b></div><div>The Calibration team applies cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning algorithms to solve challenges such as: camera-to-lidar and camera-to-camera calibration, visual odometry, and visual localisation. Unblocking these provides Woven by Toyota with a unique opportunity to develop safe, efficient, and intuitive self-driving systems.</div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Build pipelines and leverage data derived from one of the largest vehicle networks in the world to accelerate autonomous driving technology</li><li>Work on distributed computer vision and machine learning systems to deploy algorithms at an unprecedented scale</li><li>Collaborate with vehicle engineers and operators to ensure exceptional calibration quality for optimal vehicle deployment, enhancing autonomous driving performance</li><li>Contribute to innovative calibration techniques, working alongside a diverse team of Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineers</li><li>Be a team player; uplift others through mentoring and inclusion efforts</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>3+ years of industrial experience in computer vision or related field with demonstrated experience in topics such as: IMU and/or Lidar and/or Camera Sensor Calibration, Structure-from-motion, SLAM, Localisation, Sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, Multi-view geometry</li><li>Experience with Python / C++</li><li>Experience writing testable and modular code to maintain a production environment</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams and disciplines with great interpersonal skills</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Background in Robotics</li><li>Experience working with camera/lidar/INS hardware and manufacturers toolkits, verifying sensor operation</li><li>Experience in cloud applications, specialising in scalable deployment of CV/ML algorithms (e.g. data pipelines, batch processing, workflow orchestration).</li><li>Proficiency in developing embedded and low-level software using C/C++</li></ul><div>For positions based in Palo Alto, CA, the base pay for this position ranges from $140,000- $230,000 a year.</div><div><br /></div><div>Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
