You will lead the creation of a large scale platform that will create an ecosystem with many colleagues. If you want to tackle the challenge of developing innovative services and expanding the possibilities of mobility on a large scale, which have been conceived but not yet realized by anyone, lets make history together.</span></div><h3>RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Lead the design and development of mobility services that connect diverse mobilities within and outside Woven City</li><li>Make technical decisions regarding the construction and operation of a scalable data collection infrastructure for real-time collection and accumulation of large-scale data</li><li>Lead communication with external partners, Toyota-related MaaS initiatives, and other stakeholders to drive consistent, end-to-end product development</li><li>Establish a product development process that collaborates with cross-functional teams while rapidly validating value within an agile development structure</li><li>Implement best practices in the development process and continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security</li></ul><h3>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field</li><li>7+ years of experience in large-scale backend development with a focus on scalability and availability</li><li>Experience developing APIs such as REST APIs or GraphQL</li><li>Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies</li><li>Deep understanding of at least one programming language specification (e.g., C++, C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python; Go/Python preferred)</li><li>Business-level English proficiency and conversational-level Japanese, along with work experience at a Japanese company</li><li>Ability to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to drive projects forward</li></ul><h3>NICE TO HAVE</h3><ul><li>Experience in system development related to mobility services and geospatial services</li><li>Experience building and operating message systems (Kafka/MQTT) and distributed systems</li><li>Experience data modeling within complex business domains</li><li>Development experience using AI Agents (Copilot, Claude Code)</li><li>Experience designing and documenting APIs intended for use outside ones own team</li><li>LLM application development experience</li><li>Experience in mathematical optimization and algorithm development within the mobility field</li><li>System design capabilities that consider future scalability and maintainability even in highly uncertain situations</li></ul><div>=========================================================================</div><div><b>Important Points</b></div><div><span>・All interviews will be arranged via Google Meet, unless otherwise stated.</span></div><div><span>・The same job descriptions are available in both English and Japanese; therefore, we kindly ask that you apply to only one version.</span></div><div><span>・We kindly request that you submit your resume in English, if possible.
