Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Who are we looking for?</b></div><div>As a Global Supply Chain and Procurement Manager reporting to our Supply Chain and Procurement Team Manager, you will be empowered to work closely with stakeholders across Engineering and Corporate functions to deliver the goals and objectives with regards to external spend and partnerships with strategic suppliers. You will be working as a team member of the Supply Chain and Procurement team at Woven by Toyota.</div><h3>RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Work synergistically with other team members to contribute to creating a strong Procurement and Supply Chain team in Woven by Toyota U.S. and U.K.</li><li>Take ownership of the assigned scope of role and responsibility, to which a wide range of Procurement / Supply Chain actions including spend analysis, strategy creation and stakeholder alignment, supplier negotiations and selections through RFx, delivery management are required</li><li>Help Team Manager to develop Procurement and Supply Chain strategies aligning with each business units goals and processes</li><li>Run RFQs and/or RFPs and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best-in-industry costs and quality to meet targets and to achieve the expectations from business units</li><li>Drive cost reduction through clean sheet analysis, and optimization of supplier base</li><li>Must be willing to roll up their sleeves and complete multiple tasks under pressure, while assessing, managing and mitigating risks</li><li>Negotiate and close contracts with suppliers at competitive price points at the speed required to support a growing business</li><li>Communicate effectively at all levels and escalate issues appropriately</li><li>Ensure compliance to Woven by Toyotas rules and policies by effectively communicating and educating members of business units</li></ul><h3>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Bachelors/Masters degree in related fields.</li><li>Proven experience (8+ years) in Procurement / Supply Chain or strategic negotiation roles</li><li>Proven experience (3+ years) in the autonomous vehicle industry</li><li>Experience in complex negotiations of variety of contractual agreement with suppliers including IP licensing related agreements</li><li>Profound understanding of the High-tech Silicon/Semiconductor industry</li><li>Experience in driving RFPs/RFQs as a Procurement / Supply Chain member</li><li>Deep knowledge in sourcing/purchasing including Supplier Relationship Management</li><li>Demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and an ability to create, track, analyze and report out on metrics</li><li>Experience in using software tools for Procurement / Supply Chain to ensure a smooth procure-to-pay process by collaboratively working with Finance and stakeholders</li><li>Outstanding skill for Internal and External Stakeholder Relationship Management</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; ability to evaluate and analyze data and to present to executive leadership with demonstrated skills of communications through documents (Google Slide/ Doc)</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Passion for Technology and Mobility</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and working in a diverse environment</li><li>Demonstrate strong skill of supplier management and stakeholders engagement and coordination</li><li>Background in procurement of automotive software, contingent workers, facilities and other IT related commodities is a plus</li><li>Background in international trading (import and export) is a plus</li><li>Ability to speak, write and understand Japanese is a plus</li><li>MS Degree or MBA</li></ul><div>For positions based in Palo Alto, CA, the base pay for this position ranges from $119,000- $195,500 a year. </div><div><br /></div><div>Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
