In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating intricate and strategic programs that are imperative to Workdays success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.About the RoleWe are looking for a program manager who understands the value of program structure while balancing the need for agility and innovation within that framework. Using program management methodologies, this role will drive sophisticated projects by identifying and leading scope, dependencies, and risks, driving timeline alignment, and reporting on the health and status of the program – all concluding with timely delivery of outcomes and results!<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Lead cross-functional initiatives and transformational projects from initiation to closure</li><li>Build comprehensive project plans including dependencies, resourcing, key milestones, and task-level detail</li><li>Support workstream leads on your projects by providing structure and instruction</li><li>Drive and report progress against program objectives and goals</li><li>Identify program risks and issues and facilitate the development of plans to mitigate or prevent those risks</li><li>Communicate efficiently, timely, and with a level of detail and format appropriate to the audience</li><li>Gain a deep understanding of the business challenges and overall goals to enable you to steer working teams through issues</li></ul>About YouBasic Qualifications<ul><li>8+ years leading sophisticated, cross-functional, technology based end-to-end programs at enterprise scale</li><li>3+ years of experience with AI/ML, RPA, Internal Controls</li><li>​PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.</li></ul><h2>Other Qualifications</h2><ul><li>BS or MS or equivalent experience in either Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems</li><li>Proficiency in program tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Smartsheets)</li><li>Strong experience in project management methodologies and templates</li><li>Experience collaborating with multiple layers of the organization with shown success initiating change and influencing at all levels</li><li>Strong organization skills, capable of leading opposing priorities and handling varying workloads</li><li>You have a curiosity about process optimization</li><li>Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (developing reporting dashboards).</li><li>Possess strong written and verbal presentation skills and be adept at influencing and gaining consensus</li><li>You know (and love) Workday Finance and related applications.</li></ul> Our Approach to Flexible Work  With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
