As one of the team’s localization managers, you will make it possible for people around the world to enjoy our games. We are a small international team bringing our passion for languages and games together. Working in an agile environment allows us to constantly review and optimize our tools and processes, ensuring the same fun, natural experience in all languages we support.</p> <h2>About the role:</h2> <ul> <li>Managing the entire localization and LQA (Localization Quality Assurance) process of our games, emails, fan page posts, websites, and FAQs through various communication and management tools</li> <li>Ensuring correct, consistent, and (most importantly) fun translations</li> <li>Managing external vendors and freelancers to make sure we have the right partner for each project</li> <li>Monitoring and measuring the quality of translations</li> <li>Creating style guides and briefs for external partners</li> <li>Researching language trends and performance using internal and external databases</li> <li>Preparing the foundation for the localization of new games (including but not limited to, cost &amp; timeline estimations, creation of timeline, competitor analysis/language set research, tool &amp; workflow setup with different internal &amp; external stakeholders, etc.) and presenting localization data to internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Using agile work methods for improved teamwork and quality</li> <li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the game teams to ensure effective partnership</li> </ul> <h2>About you:</h2> <ul> <li>You can demonstrate tangible experience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously within a localization or translation department</li> <li>Ideally, you have gathered this experience in a company focused on mobile games or other form of mobile entertainment</li> <li>People Management experience is a plus, as in this role there is the possibility of managing 1-2 people</li> <li>Experience with vendor management</li> <li>Knowledge of tools and processes in localization, e.g. Crowdin, MemoQ etc.</li> <li>Experience with using AI tools in Localization is a plus</li> <li>Passion for languages, their quirks, and national idiosyncrasies</li> <li>You have an interest in games, particularly casual mobile games!</li> <li>Excellent English skills.
