Oodle enables developer and SRE teams to handle 10x more data at a tenth of the price. Oodle is disrupting Observability just like snowflake has disrupted data warehousing. We are taking a unique and fundamentally new architectural approach to Observability by building a unified experience for logs, metrics and traces. We’re a seed funded company backed by the top tier VCs in the Observability, and Infra/AI spaces. We’ve worked at Rubrik, AWS, ran a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/neptune-io">YC-backed observability startup</a>, and have built and launched products like AWS S3, DynamoDB and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.rubrik.com/blog/author/v/vijay-karthik">made open source contributions in CockroachDB</a>. We’re a really unique team - we are our own customers, and lived through these pain points for 8+ years - both as a buyer of observability at a high scale company for 4.5 years (Rubrik) and as a company builder selling to the same buyer (4+ years at YC startup).ABOUT THE JOBAs a Founding Engineer on the team, you will get to:<ul><li>Disrupt a large existing market with deep technical insights. You’ll be on the ground floor of creating a product like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Rubrik, DataBricks, Confluent, CockroachDB, DynamoDB, ClickHouse, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora (from scratch).</li><li>Wear multiple hats - rapid experimentation to find customer needs, and building software, talking to customers, eliminating ambiguity, and focusing/deciding on the things that matter. </li><li>Optimize our software stack and database engine for cost, performance and scale.
