Senior Manager position embedded within an innovative Legal Department, with a scope that connects areas and solutions through autonomy and strategic thinking. This role leads a multidisciplinary and diverse team, fostering continuous development and a high-performance culture grounded in empathy, respect, and purpose.



This role in summary

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking LAR (Latin America Region) Senior Legal Manager. This is a hybrid role that blends strategic legal business partnering (including M&A) with legal operations, driving innovation, data-led decisions, and scalable legal processes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership while designing and implementing legal strategies that align with both local needs and global standards.



Your responsibilities will include

Legal General

  • Provide strategic legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring legal risk is appropriately managed.
  • Collaborate with external counsel where necessary, managing costs and ensuring quality.
  • Advise and lead on M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships (from due diligence through integration).

Legal Strategy & Planning

  • Identify legal risks and opportunities tied to market expansion, operational changes, or industry shifts.
  • Design and execute the LAR Legal strategic plan, aligned with global legal and business objectives.
  • Contribute to global legal strategy and policy development, adapting them to LATAMs regulatory and business context.

Legal Operations & Innovation

  • Establish and evolve legal operations capabilities in LATAM, including:
    - Legal tech implementation and process automation.
    - Data analytics and reporting (KPIs, legal spend, matter management, etc.).
    - Project management of legal initiatives.
  • Improve cross-functional collaboration through scalable tools and optimized legal workflows.
    - Track and incorporate market insights to support legal and business agility.

Minimum requirements

  • Law degree (JD, LLM, or equivalent) with license to practice in at least one LATAM jurisdiction.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort operating at the intersection of law, data, and strategy.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • 10+ years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
  • Proven experience in: Legal General (legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate, commercial matters); M&A transactions (deal structuring, due diligence, post-merger integration); Legal operations, project management, or legal tech initiatives.
