The Manager, Coding Quality is responsible for providing oversight of teammates and vendor teams to ensure medical coding practices are compliant with regulatory standards. The scope of this job includes evaluating the department coding audit program and collaborating with operations and education teams to ensure quality, education, and productivity are achieved.We invite you to apply today and join us in shaping the future of healthcare! Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage the quality program by understanding and applying COPs, coding guidelines, and all other appropriate CMS program guidelines as it relates to home health care and hospice into day-to-day activities and ensure these standards are followed by the team.</li><li>Manage stateside workforce and workforce planning by monitoring daily production queue metrics to anticipate and address staffing challenges in real time.</li><li>Evaluate identified education enhancement opportunities for medical coding professionals, review changes in the quality metrics, and assist in education development and execution as needed.</li><li>In partnership with the coding operations team, plan and prioritize maintaining an adequate threshold of highly trained medical coders that ensure client satisfaction.</li><li>Analyze and report key performance indicators data to relevant teammates on a regular basis, assess trends as needs to anticipate issues, and ideate solutions as data indicates.</li><li>Perform other job duties as assigned.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience</li><li>At least 0-1 years of relevant management work experience</li><li>Coding Certified (HCS-D or BCHH-C) </li><li>OASIS certification and/or experience in OASIS review</li></ul>Job Expectations:<ul><li>Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed</li><li>Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information</li><li>Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time</li></ul>#LI-KL2#LI-RemoteWellSky is where independent thinking and collaboration come together to create an authentic culture.
