In a collaborative environment, the engineer will drive strategy, lead (participate in) technology selection, and be an integral part of a team executing banks transition to Zero Trust.</p><p>The role will:</p><ul><li>Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups</li><li>Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking</li><li>Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions</li><li>Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions</li><li>Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization</li><li>Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education</li><li>7+ years of network security engineering experience</li></ul><p><b>Desired Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of technical design experience</li><li>5+ years of network security design </li><li>5+ years of experience working in a large enterprise network organization</li><li>2+ years of public cloud designing network security component like virtual FW in Azure and Google</li><li>Advanced knowledge and understanding of Zero Trust with the ability to understand business requirements and opportunities</li><li>Demonstrate good understanding of each of the Zero Trust principles and technology</li><li>Experience with one or more of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions from leading market vendors</li><li>Experience with Internet Proxy solutions</li><li>Experience with leading vendors firewall platforms</li><li>Experience with network segmentation solutions like Illumio</li><li>Experience with remote access solutions</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of end-to-end network architecture and protocols</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Excellent technical writing skills including for design and architecture</li><li>Ability to research, design, implement, and test industry best practices</li><li>Ability to define business requirements and align to technology direction</li><li>Ability to align technology direction to business terminology</li><li>Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people</li><li>Ability to train and lead others</li><li>Ability to present technical concepts to senior leaders</li><li>Strong leadership skills </li></ul><p><br /><b>Job Expectations:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to travel up to 20% of the time</li><li>Work from the office in a hybrid environment</li><li>This position is not available for Visa Sponsorship</li></ul><p><b>Locations:</b></p><ul><li>Las Colinas, Irving</li><li>S Brevard St., Charlotte, NC</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Pay Range</b><br /> </p><p>Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
