This role is both technical and creative where you’ll execute end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives, coordinate with product leadership and lean into improving the product ecosystem, partnering with lifecycle marketing leadership to build a world-class lifecycle function, including developing a strategic experimentation roadmap and leveraging AI to drive efficiencies and personalization efforts.</div><div><br /></div><div>The ideal candidate can think “client first”, who can balance multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing on quality, and who understands the interconnected technical and creative elements of consumer performance marketing programs. You’ll be joining our multidisciplinary Marketing organization where you’ll work with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Communications &amp; Engineering and other growth and lifecycle marketers like yourself.</div><h3>In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:</h3><ul><li>Own day-to-day execution of lifecycle marketing campaigns (building templates, audiences, deployment, testing, reporting).</li><li>Work closely with product marketing partners to develop and drive hyper-personalized omnichannel (email/ push/ in-app/ web &amp; SMS) programs</li><li>Partner with leadership to brainstorm quarterly lifecycle strategies that align with business objectives, product roadmaps, key performance goals, and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Ideate &amp; experiment on lifecycle strategies/tactics to drive activation, retention, engagement, and cross-sell of users within Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem (eg, promotions, incentives).</li><li>Act as a dedicated SME to one or more business units; you will be the steward of lifecycle strategy and campaign performance for your assigned product(s).</li><li>Become a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, influencing go-to-market strategies and advocating for best-in-class customer experiences through comprehensive briefs and strategic use of various channel mixes across Wealthsimple’s product ecosystem.</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists &amp; analysts to assess campaign and program performance; proactively surface data-informed opportunities for experimentation, personalization, or improvement; regularly report on program impact, client behaviours, and experimental results/learnings.</li><li>Partner with lifecycle leadership to drive process improvements, create reusable playbooks, champion marketing automation best practices and leverage AI to drive efficiencies.</li></ul><h3>What youll bring:</h3><ul><li>3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or other strategic marketing roles; demonstrated experience executing day-to-day campaigns in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation technology (ex., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) with demonstrated ability to adapt to new tools and processes rapidly.</li><li>A thoughtful, creative and critical thinker who follows a systematic and rigorous approach to problem solving.</li><li>Strong understanding of customer/lifecycle marketing strategies, email marketing best practices, leveraging &amp; activating customer data, targeting &amp; treatment personalization, strategic cohorting &amp; audience segmentation.</li><li>Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as product marketing, product, creative, and data science, to create and execute against shared goals that are based on data-informed hypotheses.</li><li>Scrappy and has a willingness to learn. Executing quickly to allow for continual iteration and experimentation are core principles of our team.</li><li>Shipped end-to-end messaging campaigns.
