As a key player on the team you will leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in origination, operational and compliance functions of the home lending unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a cutting-edge team in a rapidly growing environment. </span></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide pipeline support to origination and operations team members managing queues, workload and providing back-up support</li><li>Manage and support a team of origination and operations personnel </li><li>Maintain strong working relationships with compliance and legal teams to ensure timely updates to operations in response to regulatory changes.</li><li>Support configuration and optimization of the Loan Origination System (LOS) to meet business needs, ensuring efficient and compliant loan origination. </li><li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design scalable system workflows and ensure seamless integration with other technology platforms. </li><li>Oversee system testing, implementation and ongoing enhancements to maintain operational efficiency and an excellent client experience.</li><li>Ensure all home lending processes and systems are compliant with federal and state regulations</li><li>Assist with audits and licensing in alignment with industry standards.</li><li>Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for the home lending unit.</li><li>Implement training, reference material, policy and procedure to support the launch of new states and product offerings. </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance efficiency. </li><li>Participates in and leads proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals</li><li>Adopts Company values in work behaviors, decision making, contributions and interpersonal interactions.</li><li>Contributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous development, collaboration, creativity and fun</li></ul><h3>Expertise</h3><ul><li>Customer-focused, business-centric, and team-oriented mindset; relentlessly passionate about up-leveling the client experience. </li><li>Strong knowledge of pipeline management from loan origination to sale. </li><li>Working knowledge of state  licensing and registration requirements and use of the NMLS.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Federal and state regulations including TRID and HMDA. </li><li>Involvement in regulatory and loan file audits. </li><li>Deep understanding of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines and state requirements.</li><li>Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines in a high paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organization.</li><li>Intellectually curious and interested in applying technology to enhance business processes. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for operational improvement</li><li>Proficiency in project management and familiarity with technology platforms commonly used in home lending operations</li><li>Excellent communication skills focusing on both internal and external communications</li><li>Openness to adapting to industry changes</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 7 years of retail mortgage lending experience</li><li>Minimum 4 years experience in leadership roles</li><li>Strong knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo guidelines</li><li>Solid understanding of state and federal lending regulations</li><li>Familiarity with digital lending platforms and automation tools</li><li>Proven expertise in collaborating with technical teams for system configuration, particularly with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and related platforms</li></ul><div>Estimated annual salary range: $130,000 - $145,000 USD plus equity and a discretionary bonus.</div><div><br /></div><div>Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K plan, generous time off, parental leave, wellness reimbursements, professional development, employee investing discount, and more!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><b>About Wealthfront</b></div><div><br /></div><div><span>Here at Wealthfront, our mission is to create a financial system that favors people, not institutions.
