Were looking for talented teammates who’ll help us maintain strong teamwork and are passionate about driving results.</p> <p>In this hybrid role, you will report to a Team lead, Sensing Systems Test Engineering.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own a significant portion of the sensor (lidar, camera, radar) verification and validation activities to support qualification of fully autonomous operations, for both recurring software releases and new hardware prototypes</li> <li>Design, execute and debug automated tests across multiple platforms to verify sensing requirements, expose issues, and identify root causes</li> <li>Work with systems engineers, systems test engineers, software engineers, hardware engineers and external vendor teams to strategize on, create, standardize and optimize automated testing methodologies supporting periodic onboard software deployment</li> <li>Write reusable, high quality, sensor data analysis and test automation software (Python and/or C++)</li> <li>Develop cohesive verification and validation plans, including test plans</li> <li>Analyze test data and communicate the results in technical reports and presentations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or other technical field OR equivalent practical experience</li> <li>An advanced degree OR 8 years of equivalent practical experience</li> <li>Experience analyzing data using Python or other high level language (e.g. Matlab, SQL, C++)</li> <li>Experience in writing testable and maintainable software running in production level environment</li> <li>Experience collaborating in projects with multiple non-colocated contributors and stakeholders</li> <li>Experience with systems engineering verification and validation (V&amp;V) methods</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>We prefer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>V&amp;V test campaign coordination and execution</li> <li>Familiarity with robotics, sensing, optics, or perception technologies</li> <li>Experience debugging complex systems</li> <li>Experience with simulation-based testing</li> <li>Experience with autonomous vehicles or other autonomous systems</li> <li>Experience with technical program management</li> </ul> <p> </p><div><div><div><p><span>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
