These systems include solutions for data generation, feature store, bulk inference, lineage tracking, and dataset management. We are looking for a software engineer to join our team to build highly scalable data infrastructure to help scale Waymos datasets to power the ever-growing ML models.</p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Report into our Head of ML PlatformDesign and build the next generation data generation framework at Waymo.</li> <li>Collaborate with ML practitioners on designing the schema &amp; infrastructure in managing the ML datasets.</li> <li>Collaborate with other infra teams to make sure we have an efficient end-to-end data pipeline for model training.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of professional experience in the field of software engineering</li> <li>Experience in programming C++</li> <li>Experience with building highly scalable distributed system</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice To Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in building ML data infra</li> <li>Passionate about building internal infra &amp; tools</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p><div><div><div><p><span>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
