To achieve our mission, we architect and create high-performance custom silicon; we develop system-level compute architectures that push the boundaries of performance, power, and latency; and we collaborate closely with many other teammates to ensure we design and optimize hardware and software for maximum performance. We are a multidisciplinary team seeking curious and talented teammates to work on one of the worlds highest performance automotive compute platforms.</p> <p><em>In this hybrid role, youll report to an ASIC Design Manager</em></p> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with researchers and architects to translate high level requirements into ASIC hardware features</li> <li>Specify, architect, and design interconnects and accelerators that process sensor data and other system compute workloads</li> <li>Collaborate with the physical design team on synthesis and timing closure of digital blocks.</li> <li>Perform power, area and performance trade-off analyses of digital designs</li> <li>Work with verification teams to guarantee functional correctness and performance</li> <li>Create and run software that tests digital designs in simulation and bringup</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>7+ years of industry experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog, RTL digital microarchitecture</li> <li>Deep knowledge of computer architecture and on-chip communication networks</li> <li>Experience working cross-functionally with Software, Architecture, Design Verification, and validation teams</li> <li>Fluency in at least one high level programming language such as Python, C++</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skill</li> </ul> <p><strong>We prefer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Masters or PhD degree in Engineering</li> <li>Experience leading or managing engineering teams </li> <li>Experience with the full digital design verification cycle -- from spec through bring-up</li> <li>Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS)</li> <li>Experience with performance and power validation, and formal verification</li> <li>Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms &amp; how they map to hardware</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p><div><div><div><p><span>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
