To achieve our mission, we architect and create high-performance custom silicon; we develop system-level compute architectures that push the boundaries of performance, power, and latency; and we collaborate closely with many other teammates to ensure we design and optimize hardware and software for maximum performance. We are a multidisciplinary team seeking curious and talented teammates to work on one of the worlds highest performance automotive compute platforms. In this hybrid role, you will report to a Staff Hardware Engineer.   You will: <ul> <li>Architect, design, and build PCBAs (schematic capture, simulation, board layout)</li> <li> Design and execute validation testing plans for boards and systems </li> <li> Debug and triage units from the field </li> <li> Own board and system bring-up </li> <li> Create and modify testing software </li> </ul>   You have: <ul> <li> BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience </li> <li> 5+ years PCB design experience - schematic capture, board layout, manufacturing, test/debug </li> <li> Delivered at least one project from prototype phase into mass production <ul> <li> Experience with hardware validation cycles, debug and measurement methods </li> <li> Experience with lab bring-up, debug of complex electronic systems, and manufacturing testing processes </li> </ul> </li> <li> Familiarity with:  <ul> <li> Computer architecture and networking </li> <li> Digital communication buses, such as CAN, I2C, SPI, MIPI, DDR, PCIe </li> </ul> </li> </ul> We prefer: <ul> <li> 8+ years PCB design experience </li> <li> Delivered multiple projects to mass production </li> <li> Experience designing for automotive environments </li> <li> Background designing highly complex boards, such as high-performance servers or high-speed networking hardware </li> <li> Familiarity with Cadence PCB CAD tools such as Cadence DE-HDL </li> <li> Familiarity with Python, Linux and C++ environments </li> </ul><div><div><div>The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
