The role will report to the Corporate Development Director. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely, in a hybrid setup, or on-site at one of our Wargaming locations around the globe.</p> <p>The position involves working closely with internal stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess strategic partnerships, investments, M&amp;A and other opportunities for Wargaming at a global level.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be a proactive all-rounder with experience in investment banking, management consulting, M&amp;A, corporate development or investments. An understanding of and a personal interest in the gaming industry are prerequisites. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make an impactful contribution to the company’s growth and establish themselves as a key pillar in the company’s core strategy.</p> <h3><strong>Reports to</strong></h3> <p>The Corporate Development Analyst will report into the Corporate Development Director</p> <h3><strong>What will you do?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Perform a broad spectrum of research and analyses in interactive gaming and adjacent sectors</li> <li>Develop gaming industry expertise by evaluating both released and in-development games</li> <li>Build and maintain a network of industry relationships with studios and the broader gaming and investment community</li> <li>Continuously monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new investment, business, and gaming opportunities</li> <li>Evaluate investment, M&amp;A and strategic partnership deals performing a broad range of qualitative and quantitative analyses</li> <li>Support the deal execution process all the way from origination through to due diligence, transaction completion and integration</li> <li>Prepare specific models, business cases and presentations with findings and recommendations for decision-making by senior management</li> <li>Communicate recommendations to enable strategic decisions by the executive team</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate development, management consulting, venture capital, private equity or investment banking</li> <li>The ideal candidate will have verifiable work experience from a previous manager</li> <li>Proactive and action-oriented, assertive, self-managed and highly accountable personality</li> <li>Need to regularly liaise with HQ in Cyprus and colleagues in other global offices</li> <li>Ability to perform qualitative analyses of complex business issues</li> <li>Strong emotional intelligence skills and ability to clearly communicate and present ideas</li> <li>Deep analytical and evaluation skills</li> <li>Strong Excel, financial modelling and PowerPoint skills</li> <li>Discipline and high standards for quality and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to multitask efficiently and work under pressure</li> <li>Personal interest in gaming and a solid understanding of the industry</li> <li>Gaming industry experience is a bonus but not a prerequisite</li> <li>Willingness to travel regularly to different time zones</li> <li>A good understanding of digital technology</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Work mode</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Remote within Europe</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Benefits and perks are tailored to the local market and culture.
