The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React Native, a solid understanding of native mobile development, and hands-on experience with the full app lifecycle—from development to publishing on the App Store and Google Play.<h2>What youll do...</h2>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.</li><li>Own the end-to-end app lifecycle, including publishing, updates, and store compliance (App Store &amp; Play Store).</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.</li><li>Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and native modules as needed.</li><li>Implement and monitor analytics, Crashlytics, and performance metrics (CPU, battery usage).</li><li>Build and maintain functional automation tests using Appium or similar frameworks.</li><li>Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Create clear and functional technical documentation and charts to communicate architecture and workflows.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies and trends.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>3–5 years of experience in mobile and desktop user experience development.</li><li>Strong expertise in React Native, with recent hands-on experience.</li><li>Solid understanding of native mobile development (iOS/Android) and ability to bridge native modules.</li><li>Experience in publishing apps to App Store and Play Store, including handling store requirements and updates.</li><li>Proficiency in ReactJS, Redux, and GraphQL.</li><li>Familiarity with front-end design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.</li><li>Experience with Appium or other open-source automation frameworks.</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple features and requirements concurrently.</li><li>Experience with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>A genuine passion for technology and continuous learning.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Backend development experience in Java or Node.js.</li><li>Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C) is a plus.</li></ul>At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
