Relocation is mandatory if selected for this role.<h2>What youll do...</h2><ul><li>Contribute to the design and development of complex, scalable front-end features with a strong focus on reusability, maintainability, and long-term system health.</li><li>Develop platform features with front-end technologies (React and React Native) and microservices (Node.js, Java, Spring Boot) and event-driven (Kafka, SSE, WebSocket) architecture.</li><li>You’ll also play a key role in exploring and integrating AI and Generative AI capabilities to enhance user experiences, drive personalization, and streamline front-end workflows. Whether surfacing intelligent insights or embedding GenAI-powered UI features, you will help define how emerging technologies elevate our products.</li><li>Uphold the engineering and operational excellence standards and embrace automation.</li><li>You’ll partner closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders to align on vision and outcomes, ensuring the solutions you build are extensible across multiple use cases.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with business, product, data science, front-end engineering, and data engineering teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.</li><li>Integrate various data structures using Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and GraphQL APIs.</li><li>Emphasize the importance of data security with sensitive data and access control.</li><li>Implement feature flags, CI/CD with automation, ensuring high operational excellence for 99.99% uptime and sub-second API responses for P90 metrics.</li><li>Support production operations for critical and high impact applications.</li></ul> What youll bring: <ul><li>Deep expertise in React for web and React Native for mobile platforms is essential.</li><li>Strong expertise in platform integration skills using React, React Native, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.</li><li>Proficiency in working with different data structures using Cosmos DB, Graph DB, SQL Server, Kafka event topics, and GraphQL APIs.</li><li>Version control using Git in collaboration settings.</li><li>Proven track record of ownership and delivery.</li><li>Experience with developing GenAI-based applications using skills such as Prompt Engineering, RAG, etc.</li><li>Experience with feature flags, CI/CD automation, shift left principles.</li><li>Experience with large-scale data pipelines in online advertising, recommender systems, e-commerce, or relevant areas.</li><li>Emphasis on data security with sensitive data and access control</li><li>Highly resourceful and methodical in solution/architecture/API/codebase design and ability to translate product requirement into engineering blueprint.</li></ul> About Walmart Global Tech Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
