Position Summary...

You will be leading one of the most pinnacle teams in all of eCommerce. You’ll be guiding, mentoring, leading, and recruiting, iOS Software Engineers at all levels to fulfill the tasks placed upon you and your team. You will be diplomatically managing the relationships of countless teams which rely upon yours. You will be expected to manage and achieve goals, timelines, and deliverables, across a wide range of subject matter. You’ll have the opportunity to lead complex engineering challenges which are unique to Walmart’s scale, while making use of your expertise in coding, algorithms, process, planning, triaging, analysis, and large-scale system design.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. What you will do:
- Expertise in iOS development including Swift, iOS SDK, and Apples Xcode.
- Strong familiarity with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Profound understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) principles and tools.
- Experience with software release processes and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the product.
- Deep understanding of software debugging and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and software engineering best - practices.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
- Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (SDLCs) and industry best practices.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and lead a team of software engineers.
- Knowledge of project management principles and tools are beneficial.

- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage expectations and handle project scope.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and other departments in the organization.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
