<h2>Position Summary...</h2><h2>What youll do...</h2>As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing &amp; delivering next-generation Data Center Network for Walmart. This role will combine deep technical expertise, Innovation, coding proficiency &amp; organizational influence to make sure infrastructure that is built scales reliably &amp; is cost-effective. What youll do:<ul><li>Own end-to-end design of large-scale highly available &amp; reliable Network for Data Centers.</li><li>Define long-term Architectural roadmaps.</li><li>Evaluate &amp; Introduce Emerging technologies (Evaluating, adopting &amp; Operationalizing disaggregated network technologies).</li><li>Lead cross-organizational projects.</li><li>Standardize design patterns &amp; enforce best practices.</li><li>Define standards to improve MTTR (Mean time to Recovery).</li><li>Drive Network Automation strategy.</li><li>Mentor and lead a team of network engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.</li><li>Communicate strategy &amp; progress to VPs, Directors &amp; all stakeholders.</li><li>Document architectural decisions, design patterns, policies, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across the broader organization</li></ul>What youll bring:<ul><li>8+ years of experience in network architecture, network engineering, and network operations.</li><li>Strong expertise in Network Architecture &amp; Protocols: Leaf-spine data center design, BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, IS-IS/OSPF.</li><li>Cloud Networking: VPC, Multi-cloud Interconnects, Transit Gateways.</li><li> Experience in Data Engineering: Developing Dashboards &amp; alerting systems for proactive monitoring.
