Stay abreast of the latest advances in deep learning, visual reasoning, and large-scale data processing</li><li><b>Design Scalable Real-Time Systems</b>: Create models that can reliably handle input from thousands of always-on video cameras, running at scale 24/7, and extract actionable insights around safety issues</li><li><b>Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams</b>: Work closely with software engineering, cloud, and ML operations teams to optimize data ingestion, model retraining, and redeployment flows across large-scale infrastructures</li><li><b>Consult on Customer Solutions</b>: Advise Sales, Customer, and Field Engineering teams in defining and customizing solutions to meet complex client requirements</li><li><b>Contribute to Product Evolution</b>: Transfer research findings into production, contributing to the continuous improvement of our cutting-edge platform</li><li><b>Drive Continuous Innovation</b>: Shape Voxel’s vision for deploying generative AI to solve industrial and enterprise-scale computer vision problems, using millions of videos to find patterns and deliver actionable insights to customers.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Educational Background</b>:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field + 5 years of professional experience; OR Master’s degree in a relevant field + 3 years of professional experience; OR PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a similar area.</li><li><b>Deep Learning &amp; Computer Vision Expertise</b>: Proven experience in building and deploying deep learning models (e.g., convolutional neural networks, visual reasoning architectures) for large-scale image or video analysis.</li><li><b>Practical Experience at Scale</b>: Hands-on track record in processing and extracting insights from large video datasets (e.g., millions of video).</li><li><b>Research-to-Product Transition</b>: Demonstrated ability to translate innovative computer vision, machine perception, or machine learning research into shipping products or real-world applications.</li><li><b>Generative AI Exposure</b>: Familiarity with generative models and techniques, with a passion for applying them to real-world computer vision and safety use cases.</li><li><b>Collaboration &amp; Communication</b>: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to lead cross-functional discussions and clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Experience with VLMs or Multi-Modal Architectures</b>: Familiarity training or fine-tuning large Visual Language models that integrate text and visual components.</li><li><b>Video-Based Modeling</b>: Hands-on experience building and optimizing video-focused neural networks for tasks such as activity recognition, action localization, or spatiotemporal understanding.</li></ul><div><b>Why Join Us?</b></div><div><span>Join a visionary team revolutionizing safety and operations, directly impacting the well-being of millions of essential workers.
