Role purpose:
Network Deployment Engineer mainly participated in operating IP services & nodes of different technologies and vendors and implementing new services with good experience in IP for Vodafone Germany. He/ She will work across different technology teams during the troubleshooting and implementation of new services and solutions with the responsibility of solving network issues and rolling out IP services during new site activation.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Configure and Deploy WAN/LAN routers including IPSEC, MPLS and IPVPN for Vodafone Germany Enterprise Customers.
• Perform Network Change Requests for Enterprise Customers on Vodafone Network
• Perform Port Deactivation/Cancellation and configurations clean-up for the terminated services
• Lead Site and Service Migration for Vodafone Germany Enterprise Customers
• Participate in Technical Migrations according to project demands working with virtual technology teams, different stakeholders from technology, operators during implementation phases,
• Perform Post checks and Acceptance Tests for the implemented Enterprise Solutions.
Core competencies, knowledge and technical / professional qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in Troubleshooting and Network Operations in IP Complex Solutions
• Strong knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP, MPLs, LAN, WAN, and network devices
• Strong Analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
• Strong Knowledge with Cisco IOS ,Huawei Configurations
• CCNA certification or equivalent certification.
• Advanced understanding of Routing protocols and topics: RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP , L3VPN, MPLS and Quality of Service.
• C1 German Written and Oral.
• Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, multitasking, troubleshooting, documentation, time management, Problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Provide remote help to customers.
• Project management skills: technical projects
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python.
• Advanced knowledge of Service Provider Technologies and protocols
