With strong autonomy and close collaboration across teams, we explore new ideas—including AI—to shape the future of engineering.</p><p><strong>What Youll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable UI solutions that support internal developer workflows.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and translate them into actionable improvements.</li><li>Drive platform-level enhancements using technologies like microfrontends, React, GraphQL, and AWS.</li><li>Research and pilot emerging technologies—including AI—to improve developer tooling and experience.</li><li>Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards through proactive engagement and technical leadership.</li><li>Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive design.</li><li>Demonstrate deep technical knowledge to understand and shape requirements for internal platform improvements.</li><li>Identify and lead solution strategies that enhance developer experience, security, and code quality.</li><li>Apply best practices in frontend architecture and secure coding to deliver robust UI components.</li><li>Collaborate with other squads to pilot new capabilities and ensure seamless integration across systems.</li><li>Analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues, and usability challenges with minimal guidance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with product goals.</li></ul><p>This is a remote position. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on scalable -</li><li>English level B2 or above</li><li>Solid experience with UI architecture</li><li>Proven expertise in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React and GraphQL</li><li>Experience working in cloud environments (AWS prefered)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.</li><li>Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimisation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.</li><li>Experience working in agile environments and contributing to product roadmaps.</li><li>Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, multicultural team setting.</li></ul><p><br /> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of micro frontend patterns</li><li>Experience improving developer experience in platform-level engineering.</li><li>Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.</li><li>Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in exploring emerging technologies.</li><li>Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Visa is an EEO Employer.
