The right person will have a strong analytical background with equal parts technical and communication skills. They will have previously worked in product analytics or data science with a focus on data-informed results. What youll do: <ul> <li>Drive and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption and boost data-driven decision making.</li> <li>Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Work with stakeholders to plan, develop, and analyze A/B tests.</li> <li>Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations in order to enable day-to-day and strategic data-driven decision making.</li> <li>Perform advanced analytical deep dives to help stakeholders drill down into why they see certain outcomes.</li> <li>Foster a relationship of trust and cooperation with the stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration.</li> </ul> Skills you will need : <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science) and 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business).</li> <li>Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.</li> <li>A sense of ownership - capable of independently initiating and driving projects from beginning to end. </li> <li>Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making. Skilled in identifying patterns and translating business questions into effective analytical solutions. Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset and stays current with evolving data analysis methodologies.</li> <li>High proficiency in SQL is a must.</li> <li>Extensive experience in planning and analyzing AB test results.</li> <li>Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.</li> <li>Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).</li> <li>Experience with R or Python.</li> </ul> Base Salary Range: <ul> <li>NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, &amp; Los Angeles: $118,000 - $162,250</li> <li>All other US cities outside above metro areas: $$106,200 - $146,025</li> </ul> Base salary is just one component of Vimeo’s total rewards philosophy.
