Vimeo is looking for a Risk Operations Lead / Analyst to join our Payments team. In this role, you will help build operations, product experiences, &amp; establish analytics to protect our platform through investigations and data-driven insights. You’ll audit &amp; review existing product experiences, while contributing to analyzing abnormal signals to help prevent platform abuse across our Self-Serve &amp; OTT business lines. What youll do: <ul> <li>Strategy &amp; Planning: Own Vimeo’s Risk &amp; Fraud strategy and execution across Trust &amp; Safety, Security, Payment fraud prevention, and support escalations – ensuring our approach aligns with company objectives &amp; evolving regulatory environments. </li> <li>Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of fraud monitoring, risk operations, and chargeback management while owning the associated KPIs/metrics. </li> <li>Risk &amp; Compliance Management: Develop and implement risk management systems to monitor suspicious patterns, mitigate fraud across different vectors, and ensure compliance with industry standards and all relevant payment regulations.</li> <li>Collaboration &amp; Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Trust &amp; safety, product, engineering, finance, and legal, to advise on emerging risks, global compliance (e.g Network, PCI, OFAC, etc) &amp; security best practices.</li> </ul> Skills you will need : <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in payment or risk compliance operations, with a focus on fraud prevention and management</li> <li>Background knowledge of the global payment landscape, including payment processing, fraud prevention techniques, and/or existing regulatory compliance monitoring programs.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both with external customers and internal employees or partners</li> <li>Experience in problem-solving to spot trends and react quickly while establishing new processes or implementations</li> </ul> Nice-to-haves: <ul> <li>Knowledge of SQL or Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker/Tableau) </li> <li>Knowledge of fraud vendors &amp; a high-level understanding of their offerings </li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners</li> </ul> Base Salary Range: <ul> <li>NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, &amp; Los Angeles: $123,000 - $169,500</li> <li>All other US cities outside above metro areas: $110,700 - $152,550</li> </ul> Base salary is just one component of Vimeo’s total rewards philosophy.
