This enables marketers and content owners to holistically plan, transact, and measure deduplicated audiences across digital video, OTT, connected and linear TV advertising.</span></p> <p>As a Senior Backend Engineer you’ll be building the APIs that empower our clients to create comprehensive media plans for advertising campaigns that drive efficient outcomes on the VideoAmp platform in a user-friendly and scalable way. Your work will directly impact how major brands and publishers value, transact, and measure television and digital advertising.</p> <p>You will work with our Data Science, Measurement, and Engineering Services teams to ensure that our methodologies are rigorous and best-in-class, our data pipelines are correct and reliable, and our APIs are responsive and highly available. The successful candidate will be a strong coder and excellent problem solver who prefers learning by doing.</p> <p>Technologies We Use: Go, Python, gRPC, Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow, Temporal, Bazel, AWS, Kubernetes</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote, USA</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities and Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in web application development and an eagerness to learn new skills</li> <li>Fluency with one or more mainstream strongly-typed, compiled programming languages such as Go, Java, C#, or C++</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Proficiency with a version control system like GitHub including code review processes</li> <li>Collaborate with peers across the entire range of development activities that includes distilling engineering designs from product requirements, development of work plans, building consensus, implementation, testing, productization, monitoring, and maintenance</li> <li>B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, or similarly technical field preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Experience developing RESTful, resource-oriented APIs as distributed systems using gRPC and Go</li> <li>Experience building large scale data processing pipelines using SQL or Spark with a data warehousing product like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift</li> <li>Experience with monorepo development strategies and the Bazel build system</li> <li>Experience with cloud deployment of distributed systems on AWS using Kubernetes</li> <li>Experience working on a distributed team using asynchronous communication and project management strategies<br /><br /><br /></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong><strong><br /></strong></p> <p><em>This position has a minimum salary of $138,000.00 - $160,000 + Equity + Benefits.
