Role & Responsibilities

NYC (Hybrid) or Chicago (Remote)

VideoAmp is looking for an experienced Account Lead with deep expertise in AdTech and Measurement. This role will focus on managing a dedicated book of post-sale client relationships, driving performance, value, and retention. Our Account Leads are passionate about solving complex customer challenges and bring strong knowledge of tech, data, TV, and digital video. They have a proven track record of exceeding client expectations and growing relationships in a high-growth AdTech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor ongoing client performance, ensuring campaigns and insights are executed successfully and align with client goals.
  • Foster strong, consultative relationships with clients and vendors by deeply understanding VideoAmps product offerings and value proposition.
  • Understand client KPIs and build strategies to exceed performance goals.
  • Proactively solve client challenges and identify growth opportunities within accounts.
  • Establish and maintain a strong vision of customer service excellence and contribute to client success best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership and serve as a key point of contact for escalations and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive client value through regular performance reviews, adoption trends, and relationship health metrics such as retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, AdOps, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally to help refine VideoAmp’s products and processes.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends in AdTech, TV, and cross-platform measurement to offer clients cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Client Services within AdTech, programmatic media, or digital advertising—agency or vendor side.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic media buying and ad operations workflows; hands-on platform experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value clients, drive account growth, and exceed performance expectations.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience using tools like Salesforce, ChurnZero, Zendesk, Pendo, or JIRA to manage accounts and track performance.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a client-first mindset.
  • Passionate about the digital advertising industry and excited to deliver measurable results for clients.

 

What We Offer

This position pays between 114,000 - 130,000 + 30% Targeted Commissions + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicants qualifications, skills, and experience.
