This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and execute comprehensive audit plans, lead a high-performing team, and provide independent assurance to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build out the newly established internal audit function.</li><li>Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.</li><li>Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.</li><li>Provide recommendations to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support operational improvements.</li><li>Present audit findings and risk assessments to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while preserving audit independence and objectivity.</li><li>Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and best practices to update audit methodologies and frameworks.</li><li>Mentor, coach, and develop audit staff to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality audit work.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent strongly preferred.</li><li>5+ years of progressive internal audit or risk management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Deep knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT), and risk management practices.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Strategic leadership and decision-making</li><li>Risk-based auditing and governance expertise</li><li>Strong ethical standards and integrity</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>Change management and continuous improvement mindset</li></ul>Additional Information: <ul><li>This is a regular full-time position. </li><li>This is a remote role.
