Account Executives meet with clients and prospects to recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships. With their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, Account Executives will communicate directly with clients and prospects to understand their individual needs and recommend products or services to help the clients attain their goals.KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Achieve assigned sales targets. 50%</li><li>Participate in a high level of prospecting activities: lead generation, qualifying prospects, discovery, and demonstrating solutions to prospective clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities. 20%</li><li>Meet in person with clients and prospects. 10%</li><li>Deepen existing client relationships—generating incremental business. 5%</li><li>Consult with clients on business issues and marketing program design. Ability to understand client needs and negotiate costs and services. Develop insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations. 5%</li><li>Manage contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. 5%</li><li>Sell with data and insights. 5%</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>EDUCATION<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.</li><li>Advanced degree in business or related field preferred.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE<ul><li>7-10 years in a quota carrying sales role; demonstrated ability to close new business and manage relationships.</li><li>Recent sales experience within a financial services vendor company; marketing discipline preferred.</li><li>Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines.</li><li>1-3 years’ experience and proficiency required in Marketing, Media, Advertising.</li><li>Selling through creating a compelling vision or story. Use of data and insights as a selling tool. Prospecting/new business development. Managing client relationships. Selling multiple/integrated product campaigns. Understanding of the client’s market and strategic needs to align and recommend the ideal solution.</li><li>Use of data and insights as a solution selling tool.</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES<ul><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel.</li><li>Ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products/services.</li><li>Adapt easily to change - including the market, products, and internal company initiatives.</li><li>Deliver formal/high impact presentations - to clients and internally as needed.</li><li>Display Emotional (EQ) and Cognitive (IQ) Intelligence; the ability to read those around you and appropriately respond intellectually and emotionally.</li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
