Your domain expertise in mechanical design, automation and robotics will elevate your growing team’s technical knowledge and enable you to identify training opportunities for them. You will be involved in pre-sale scope validation activities. Working in collaboration with sales-executives, application engineers, application development engineers, operations team and customer success team, you will ensure that our clients are set-up for success with their automation project.In your role, you will maintain strong relationships with Sales, Product Line Management and Application Development teams to provide feedback from the field to help prioritize the Roadmap and contribute to the Go To Market strategy.The Role<ul><li>Mentor Application Engineers and contribute to the development of their technical skills and knowledge</li><li>Run brainstorming sessions and technical post-mortems</li><li>Help qualify projects and support the sales team with project feasibility checks</li><li>Review Application Engineers’ machine design, automation system diagrams and logic workflow</li><li>Take part in the machine’s design for key projects</li><li>Support sales team with client-facing meetings</li><li>Collaborate with our enablement team to prepare and deliver training sessions to engineers</li><li>Put in place references, standards, work methods and best practices</li><li>Support the deployment of machines and after sales activities</li><li>Travel to Client’s site (up to 2x per quarter)</li><li>Radiate the Application Engineering team’s needs in the product roadmap and contribute to the development of applications</li><li>Participate to project scoping with Product Line Management, Application Development and Hardware teams</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in the OEM or System Integrator field, with experience in a broad range of industrial automation applications is required (i.e EOAT, Conveyors, Packaging, Welding, etc.)</li><li>You must possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering field</li><li>You are proficient in German and English - another major European language is a plus</li><li>In your previous or current role, your peers look to you for mentorship and support</li><li>You have a take charge attitude with a solution-oriented mindset</li><li>You have demonstrated a strong desire to share your knowledge and elevate your colleagues</li><li>You thrive in fast-paced environments which requires to handle multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>How We Take Care of You<ul><li>Flexible paid time off and remote work policies.</li><li>Complimentary beverages and snacks so that you are fuelled and ready for your day.</li><li>Global comprehensive health plans so you feel your best.</li><li>Career growth opportunities.
