You will be working on cutting-edge technologies such as AWS (EC2, S3, Workspace), Visual Regression, and DevOps Tools. You will play a key role in developing/maintaining automating tests to support our ever-growing suite of regression tests.</span></div><h3>What Youll Do</h3><ul><li>Possess deep knowledge of Veeva Digital trial products such as CDMS, CDB, SiteVault, and MyVeeva applications</li><li>Creating an automation test plan and review with Development, Product Management, and Functional QA</li><li>Design and implementation of API, UI Automation, and frameworks</li><li>Contribute to release testing and automation</li><li>Work on CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) daily</li><li>Be a technical mentor and resolve the technical issues faced by the junior team members</li><li>Communicating status and working effectively with global teams</li><li>Perform code reviews and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues related to test automation</li><li>Work closely with scrum masters on sprint planning and backlog grooming</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>5+ experience in the fields of Software Testing, Test Automation, and/or Software Development</li><li>Strong experience in Java, Object-Oriented Methodologies</li><li>Strong experience with automated test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber)</li><li>Strong experience in testing Restful API &amp; HTTP web services, JSON/XML, and Web-based applications</li><li>Good working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA)</li><li>Experience with data analytics and log analysis tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch, etc.</li><li>Design, develop, and manage automated testing artifacts</li><li>Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies</li><li>Provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing</li><li>Proficient in QA process and methodologies, and different testing approaches</li><li>Collaborate to gather automation requirements, design automated tests, and implement scalable test automation solutions</li><li>Having a product-handling mindset</li><li>Excellent team collaboration and effective communication skills</li><li>Experience playing a technical mentor role to the team and performing code reviews</li><li>Fluency in interfacing with scrum teams (Development, Product Management, and Functional QA &amp; DevOPS)</li><li>A natural problem solver and critical thinker</li><li>Knowledge of modern best practices for software development including IDE, source control, build processes, release management, and deployment</li><li>Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or similar</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Experience working in the life sciences and healthcare industry</li><li>Participation in code hackathons and other open-source community activities</li><li>Experience with Android and Mac platforms</li><li>Experience with applicable software and programs including Kotlin, Swift, JAVA, and React</li></ul><h3>Perks &amp; Benefits</h3><ul><li>Health insurance with generous coverage limits</li><li>Fixed bonus</li><li>Allowance for wellness &amp; fitness programs</li><li>Winter break</li></ul><div><span>#LI-Remote</span></div><div><br /></div><div>Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.</div><div><br /></div><div>Veeva is an equal opportunity employer.
