As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with the product org to build complex methods, analytics, and data that support Veeva’s Reference Data product, OpenData. You’ll execute on our roadmap for data improvements to Veeva OpenData, evaluate discrepancies, and share critical insights that will inform both the customer and product improvement efforts. Your expertise will contribute to the continued success of both Veevas customers and the product itself.</span></div><h3>What Youll Do</h3><ul><li><b>Data Science Project Management:</b> Lead critical projects that contribute to the underlying OpenData reference and affiliation data assets by leveraging your advanced data science programming and analytics skills</li><li><b>Execute Data Curation through Applied Data Science: </b>Leverage your deep domain knowledge in how providers and facilities are identified, tracked, and represented in data to infuse OpenData with the most accurate possible representation of location and relationship</li><li><b>Collaborate on Large Complex Unstructured Data Initiatives: </b>Partner with the OpenData Engineering team to create a scaled web scraping framework that enables Veeva OpenData to track providers and facilities</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration: </b>Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Veeva’s product portfolio to assist with interoperability between OpenData and other products. Veeva OpenData collaborates with Veeva Compass to ensure that claims analytics are correctly mapped to reference and affiliation data</li><li><b>Document &amp; Report: </b>Maintain detailed documentation of all developments that are incorporated into the Veeva OpenData pipeline</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Experience: </b>10+ years of data science experience within life sciences, specifically in data integration, data management, and advanced analytics applied to RWE data</li><li><b>Technical Skills: </b>Ability to use PySpark to code against large datasets. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
