You’ll play a critical part in ensuring adherence to global privacy laws and regulations and fostering a culture of privacy throughout the organization. While maintenance of our privacy program will be a primary focus, this role will also offer opportunities to contribute to broader regulatory and compliance initiatives, such as those related to AI.</span></div><h3>What Youll Do</h3><ul><li><b>Privacy Assessments:</b> Conduct and support privacy impact assessments and data transfer impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks and ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.</li><li><b>Data Mapping &amp; Inventory:</b> Support efforts to identify, classify, and document personal data processed by the organization, including data flows and retention schedules.</li><li><b>Data Subject Requests:</b> Manage and coordinate responding to and fulfilling data subject requests in a timely and compliant manner.</li><li><b>Vendor Due Diligence:</b> Assist in assessing third-party vendor privacy practices and ensuring contractual compliance with privacy requirements.</li><li><b>Training &amp; Awareness:</b> Contribute to the development and delivery of privacy training and awareness programs for employees.</li><li><b>Privacy Program Support:</b> Assist in the management, administration and improvement of Veeva’s privacy program, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li><b>Regulatory Research &amp; Monitoring:</b> Research other regulatory matters, as assigned, and work with attorneys and other stakeholders to build, expand or improve existing compliance programs related to such research.</li><li><b>Customer Service: </b>Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. and EU data privacy laws</li><li>Experience conducting privacy impact assessments, data transfer impact assessments and data mapping</li><li>Experience administering DSAR processes</li><li>Experience completing DPIAs and DTIAs</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent </li><li>3+ years of relevant experience</li><li>High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)</li><li>Experience with OneTrust privacy management software</li><li>Experience in the life sciences industry</li></ul><h3>Perks &amp; Benefits</h3><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance</li><li>Flexible PTO and company paid holidays</li><li>Retirement programs</li><li>1% charitable giving program</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><ul><li>Base pay: $90,000 - $135,000</li><li>The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
